The spiral jet mill LaboMill-0 is the ideal solution for preliminary feasibility micronization trials with milligrams batches of new chemical entities and various other products. This R&D spiral jet mill operates effectively despite miniaturized dimensions and offers a high performance level and reliability.

At FPS R&D and Test Center, it is possible to perform technical trials with your products and LaboMill-0.

Trials performed in FPS laboratory using Lactose:
- 10mg is minimum batch micronized with PilotMill-Zero
- Recovered product: 190mg (95% of yield on 200mg batch) More information

The LaboMill-1 is ideal for R&D lab needs at the initial stages of development, when only small batch sizes are available. This very limited amount of material - starting from 200 mg - requires the use of equipment especially designed and developed for small-scale processes.

Despite the smaller dimensions, the LaboMill-1 spiral jet mill enables full scalability of the micronization process with other FPS jet mills.

The LaboMill-1 jet mills can be easily integrated within a FPS isolator system for the safe handling and processing of high potent API or toxic products. More information

Batch size: from 1g to 3kg

The PilotMill-2 jet mill is designed for product research and development needs with batches from 1g to 3kg. This spiral jet mill has been designed for higher micronized product yield. The PilotMill-2 is available in top discharge configuration with product recovery inside the filtering bag to further maximize product yield.

The PilotMill-2 jet mill can be easily integrated into glove box systems for the processing of highly active or sterile products. This spiral jet mill is also available in ATEX configuration. Special configurations, i.e. with PTFE or ceramic inserts/lining, in Hastelloy® and others are available upon request. More information

Batch size: from 3g to 10kg

The PilotMill-3 jet mill is ideal for R&D activities with micronizing batch sizes as low as 3g up to approx. 10kg, with extremely contained product loss.

This pilot spiral jet mill can be easily integrated into glove box systems for the processing of highly active or sterile products. This spiral jet mill is also available in ATEX configuration.
